"Singapore is our homeland;this is where we belong".This is one of our six ne messages.No matter which end of the world we go, there will never be a safe and sound country like this.we were born here,grown here,studied our basic studies here, hence, why should there be a need to migrate to another country just to study.

Studying in overseas is not a problem but staying there forever is a big problem.Shouldn't we serve for the country which had served us this far? Our Prime Minister highlighted this issue of students migrating to other countries to study and not returning back to serve the nation in one of his speech.After seeing the video clip i have made a decision not to fly abroad to study and if i do i solemnly promise that i will definitely return back to serve the nation.

Serving the nation is a special pleasure.We should never forget that ''we must ourselves defend singapore.'' Studies are important at the same time Singapore is also important.

Being a lawyer has always been my dream. Although it is difficult to be one, i would definitely strive hard to be one. When i told my friends that i wanted to be a lawyer,they opened their eyes and mouth wide in astonishment. Despite all this, i still want to be a lawyer.

The reason for me to choose this particular job out of a wide variety is because, i have a special interest in debating. This interest bloomed in me when i was in secondary one. My teacher would often arrange debates for my class and i would do very well in them. That was when i actually realized that i had this special talent.

I want my talent to be used in a useful way. Moreover, a lawyer wouid definitely nead this skill to argue. This is not only my reason to be a lawyer there is also another one. JUSTICE.

Many people out there needs a responsible and dependent lawyer. Why can't that lawyer be me in the future. Most lawyers fight for justice but not all. When i become a lawyer in the future i would argue to release innocent people. I would be a lawyer whom everyone would trust and praise.

For now,i have to study hard. In the future, i should be Singapore's one of the best lawyer and make my parents and clients proud of me.http://law.nus.edu.sg/

HELLO EVERYONE! I am c.kasturi,from chong boon secondary school.If u are unsure about this school,let me tell you more.This chong boon sec is found in SINGAPORE,ANG MO KIO.YES!you have guessed it right,i am a SINGAPOREAN,AND IM PROUD TO BE ONE!Now coming back to my school...i am always proud to be a chongboonite as chong boon has always made me proud.As one of our pupils' creed-TODAY WE ARE PROUD OF CHONG BOON, TOMORROW CHONG BOON WILL BE PROUD OF US,I promise to make chong boon proud of me.

The reason why i introduced my school before introducing myself was because, without them i would have never achieved this far.Now to introduce myself,i am basically the youngest in my family who is only 14+.I have an elder brother,Mugunthan, who is in NS(NATIONAL SERVICE) and whom i miss.And of ourse not missing the two great people who brought me to this world with the help of the lord,MY PARENTS-Chendren and Malliga.

Next, i would go on to introduce my friends,Arie,Sumita,Malini,Sasi,Gayathree.We call ourselves the six witches.An interesting ,irritating and incredible thing about sasi and gayathree is their laughter.Their laughter is so loud that it can break the whole world.Their laughter itself would make others laugh.Although sometimes its irritating and embarrasing i still like it as one their x-factor.Thus,we have given them a nickname-THA LAUGHING QUEENS.As for the others each of them have their different qualities which made them be my friend.
